Recommended for all first-time Readers.

Including, but not limited to, the following aspects:

  • What does The Bible and Mary Baker Eddy and your church say about the Readership?

  • Reading from both The Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy

  • Useful handout upon completion

  • Podium management and blocking

  • Voice control, modulation, and rhythm

  • Review of all aspects of services, including Thanksgiving, Wednesday services, and Communion Sunday.

  • Managing complicated markings

  • Reading with emphasis, contrasts, and phrasing

  • Coming up with Wednesday Readings and Sunday scriptural selection and hymns

  • How to prepare the night before.
